Benjamin Wozniak

Wealth Management Advisor

Ben Wozniak is the founder of First Midwest Financial Services, Inc., a firm specializing in wealth management and retirement plan administrative services since 1983. Ben is a Registered Representative at Commonwealth Financial Network® and holds his FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, 65 securities registrations.

First Midwest’s key services include:

Ben has established hundreds of retirement plans during his 34 years in the industry, making him extensively qualified to give practical, thorough advice. More than just an advisor, Ben is a long-term partner, offering comprehensive services that take clients from the initial retirement savings stage, through the accumulation phase, and finally to the distribution and life income planning component during retirement itself.

Outside the office, Ben has a range of hobbies including woodworking, cycling, gardening, art, photography, beekeeping, cooking, and home remodeling. One of his biggest passions is for world travel, and his quest for adventure has taken him and his wife to 6 continents and more than 30 countries.

Heather Burnett

Executive Strategist

Heather Burnett joined First Midwest Financial Services in 1995. With her knowledge and experience, Heather is an excellent contact for client inquiries that span most areas of the practice. Heather plays a key role in client transactions, new accounts, servicing existing accounts, and technology assistance. She is efficient in ensuring client transactions are handled promptly and properly. In her spare time, Heather enjoys new travel adventures with her husband, as well as designing and creating one-of-a-kind jewelry.

Kathleen Federighi

Retirement Administration Coordinator

Kathy Federighi joined First Midwest Financial Services in 2015 as a retirement plan administrator. Kathy is the point of contact for the daily services provided to employers and employees regarding their retirement plans. Her main responsibilities are processing new enrollments, distributions, and plan administration with tax reporting. Kathy also plays a key role in retirement plan design, legal document creation, and benefits communication.
